He is perfect blend of theory and practice. After having completed his Graduation from Kurukshetra University, he did Post Graduation from Punjab University. His quest for knowledge join Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur for its programme in Master of Regional Planning. He did his second Masters from International Institute of Aerospace Survey and Earth Sciences, Netherlands. He is Fellow of Institution of Town Planners, India (ITPI).
He has worked in Town and Country Planning Organization (TCPO) under Union Ministry of Urban Development and retired as Chief Town Planner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). He has many articles, research papers and books to his credit.
